Kathy Eklund is the Director of Infection Control and Occupational Health and Safety, at The Forsyth Institute in Cambridge Massachusetts, USA. Ms. Eklund also serves as the Patient Safety Advocate for the Forsyth Clinical Research and Service Programs. She is an Adjunct Associate Professor at the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences, Forsyth School of Dental Hygiene and is a past Chair of the Organization for Safety and Asepsis Procedures (OSAP). Ms. Eklund is an author of the U. S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) Guidelines for Infection Control in Dental Health-Care Settings- 2003. |
