How do you take your practice to the next level? This may have different meanings for many dentists. However, every practice can improve in any area. Without these changes, complacency can set in and the practice becomes boring. This can lead to less motivation, and eventually decreased morale. Our lecture will outline the important elements of taking your practice to a new level of excellence. This will create energy, excitement and motivation for all team members. The ultimate goal of every dentist is to create the best environment possible for their team, and patients.

It is well known that Dentists have tendencies to work in their four walls of practice, or a “box”. This is of no fault of the Dentist, but simply a programmed behaviour of complacency. In order to stay competitive, the dentist must begin to think outside of this “box”. What is your identity in your community? How do you want to be perceived? To take your practice to the next level, you must have a vision, goal and a way to communicate this to your team. The patient experience is the most important measure of how you’re perceived. This begins from the initial phone call to end of the appointment. Memorable experiences will increase referrals. This experience encompasses not only the physical appearance of your practice, but how they interact with you and your team. Our lecture will teach you the 5 A’s of excellent customer service, along with examples of how they may work in your office. With proper leadership from the dentist, there is no reason why a practice cannot function to a level of complete excellence.
