Oral and Maxillofacial RadiologY An Update of New Techniques and Review of Basic Principles of Interpretation.
This 4 hours course will concentrate on signs and symptoms of oral disease with special attention to modern digital radiologic and alternate imaging modalities. You will test your diagnostic acumen against key cases presented in a systematic manner.
Topics covered by this course are:
Systematic review of intraoral radiographs
Common technical mistakes
Systematic review of the most common extraoral radiographs
This course will present and review the basic radiographic interpretation concepts and how they applied in the diagnostic process. Additionally, the course will analize the new imaging modalities, including Cone Beam CT (CBCT) and how they affect the practice of dentistry.

Become familiar with the process of radiographic interpretation of the most common entities presented in a busy dental practice.
Understand the new imaging modalities available (for example Cone Beam C.T.) and how they are impacting the practice of dentistry
