The UAE International Dental Conference and Arab Dental Exhibition – AEEDC Dubai is keen to introduce new developments /advancements with each passing year, these advancements either add to the educational characteristics of the event or offer a new dimension to the objectives of the event. The year 2010 will introduce the AEEDC Young Researcher Award. This award is designed to acknowledge the young talents prevailing in the Dental Industry, to assess their efforts and present it to the specialists of the industry. This award will allow the young dentists to share their ideas, innovations and observations with world class institutions and experts of the field, making it an enlightening experience for both members of this specialty.

Through this endeavor we encourage the Young Researchers of the Dental Industry to contribute with their compiled study bringing about informative benefits for all dentists participating in the event. Attached are the guidelines of participation.
   
AEEDC Young Researcher Award application prerequisites::
 
  1. The candidate should be 35 years of age maximum.
  2. The research must be already concluded, and with no pending parts, earliest 2 years before the date of the award.
  3. The research should already be recognized by the research/thesis committee/department of a University.
  4. The research should already have been reviewed by the editors of a peer review journal and accepted for publication.
  5. The research should be either already published, or be scheduled for publication in a peer review journal.
  6. The research should be original and unique of its kind.
  7. The research should add both theoretical scientific value and real time clinical value to one or more of the fields related to dentistry.
  8. To apply latest by the end of December of each calendar year for the following award term.
